BALLY TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCESCOMPETITIVE TICKETING REPLACEMENTAT THREE RESORTS INTERNATIONAL CASINOS
LAS VEGAS, May 18, 2006 – Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines and casino management systems for the global gaming industry, announced today that it has finalized an enterprise agreement with Resorts International casinos to provide three of Resorts’ casino operations with the eTICKET™ ticket-in / ticket-out solution from Bally Technologies.

“We are expanding the role of eTICKET throughout our company by implementing a single-wire system that provides the level of integration we require. Making a change to eTICKET enterprise-wide will allow us to offer a better experience for our players while creating operational efficiencies for our entire company,” said Jon Wolfe, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Resorts. “The agreement also sets the stage to deploy eTICKET at any potential properties we may acquire in the future. This single-wire concept also allows us to leverage our existing Bally slot accounting and casino management systems that already provide our players with special bonusing and marketing programs.” Work on installing Bally Technologies’ single-wire system has already begun. It is expected that the Las Vegas Hilton will go live with the single-wire eTICKET technology during the second calendar quarter of 2006, while the Atlantic City Hilton and Bally’s Tunica in Mississippi recently completed their respective installations. These properties join three other Resorts operations — Resorts East Chicago, Resorts Atlantic City and Resorts Tunica — already running eTICKET. Once all of the installations are completed, more than 10,000 slot machines operated by Resorts will utilize eTICKET.

Recognized as the industry systems leader with more than 345,000 machines and 625 casino, bingo, Class II, central determination and lottery locations worldwide — including more than 155 locations currently running Bally eTICKET™ on more than 157,000 slot machines — the Bally Technologies systems product line offers slot machine cash monitoring, table management, cashless, accounting, security, maintenance, marketing, promotional and bonusing capabilities, enabling operators to accurately analyze performance and accountability while providing an enhanced level of customer service.
