BALLY TECHNOLOGIES PRESENTS ‘THE FUTURE… TODAY!’ AT GLOBAL GAMING EXPO TRADE SHOW WITH A BROAD SPECTRUM OF GAMING AND SYSTEMS PRODUCTS
LAS VEGAS, Nov. 12, 2007 — Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, casino management systems and networked solutions for the global gaming industry, announced today that it plans to spotlight a broad spectrum of advanced gaming and systems technology at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) trade show, set for Nov. 13-15, 2007 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Global Gaming Expo, the gaming industry’s largest trade show, offers Bally an unparalleled opportunity to present its unique lineup of products and technology covering video slots; reel-spinning slots; Class II, lottery and central-determination games; wide-area progressives; specialty games; licensed titles; multiple systems platforms for both domestic and international markets; business intelligence and data visualization; group-play games; advanced slot and systems bonusing technology; international games; proprietary poker games; system-based games; server-gaming technology and other future concept machines and games.

This year, Bally, as the company with the broadest array of technology among all global gaming suppliers, has selected the theme “The Future… TODAY!,” which will form the backdrop for more than 100 unique game titles in nearly 11,000 square feet of space in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“Our theme ‘The Future… TODAY!’ represents a commitment to our customers to provide technology with a high return on investment today,” said Richard Haddrill, CEO of Bally Technologies. “Our current products make a positive impact on our customers’ operations today and also are a great investment as gaming technology evolves in the future. As the world’s leader in gaming systems and with a great game momentum, we are in a unique position to deliver on our customers’ needs for today and a vision of the future.”

“The Networked Floor Of The Future”
In recent years, much has been made of the prospect of downloadable and server-based gaming, while, in fact, trials by competitors have failed to generate incremental revenues or an enhanced customer experience. However, Bally has used server technology with its customers to generate positive results. Bally and its partners are demonstrating an evolutionary approach for casinos to use advancements in technology to drive “The Networked Floor Of The Future.” This practical vision includes current and future server-gaming applications, open partnerships and real revenue-generating technology with a high return on investment available today. Bally’s product lineup allows operators to plan for a series of technology phases that will continue to drive more gaming play in the future while improving the overall experience of casino visitors.

The World’s No. 1 Gaming Systems Company
Bally Systems continues to lead the way with 17 of the 26 casinos in the U.S. with more than 3,000 gaming devices using Bally Systems. Bally will demonstrate an expanded presence this year, showcasing technology from four distinct product lines — Bally Casino Management Systems (CMS®), Bally Slot Management Systems (SMS®), Bally Table Management Systems (TMS™), Bally Power Bonusing™ and the new Bally Business Intelligence.

“Bally Systems continues to build momentum in the areas of systems execution, customer satisfaction, product enhancements and product innovation,” said Ramesh Srinivasan, Executive Vice President of Bally Systems. “The product range we will have on display at G2E is the broadest and deepest in our company’s history, led by the latest releases of our well-established products that customers have invested in for years, a wide variety of iVIEW™ and Power Bonusing applications and our new Business Intelligence solution.”

Bally will be showcasing a number of exciting products on its iVIEW full-color LCD interactive player-communication device mounted within the slot machine, which operates independent of game-machine manufacturers. Bally will show several technologies on iVIEW for streaming video, Bally Live Rewards™ secondary games, tournaments, top-screen picture-in-picture management and a wide array of bonusing products.

The Bally Power Bonusing suite of products includes the player-centric bonusing capabilities of Bally Power Rewards™, electronic-credit transfer with powercash™ funds access from Cash Systems, Inc. to credit/debit accounts through Bally Power Bank™, and integrated casino-wide promotional capabilities with Bally Power Promotions™, Bally Power Coupon™, Bally Power Sweepstakes™ and Bally Power Winners™.

New games in the spotlight
“Our games are growing in popularity across the globe,” said Gavin Isaacs, COO. “The stability, reliability and the flexibility of our ALPHA operating system, together with the modularity and unique player appeal of our state-of-the-art ALPHA Elite™ cabinets, have enabled our team to continue to innovate. Our range of games and machines is driving greater returns to our customers … today … while at the same time providing the functionality required for the technologies of the future.”

CineReels™ cabinet launch
Bally took the concept behind its successful CineVision™ slant-style video slot cabinet and created the new CineReels cabinet featuring up to seven mechanical reels — an industry first. Multiple game titles in three-, four-, five- and seven-reel configurations will be on display at G2E.

CineReels also features a high-resolution 20-inch widescreen touch-enabled display ideally located for interactive gaming. With enhanced audio and a standard footprint, CineReels is ergonomically designed, player friendly and features a well-positioned player-tracking interface and comfortable arm rest.

Premium games
One of the key highlights at this year’s Bally booth will be the official sales debut of the much-anticipated GameMaker® HD™ multi-game platform. Originally introduced in 1994, GameMaker was the first multi-game to gain widespread acceptance among casino players. Now, 13 years and tens of thousands of GameMakers later, the new GameMaker HD is reborn as a modern technological masterpiece in the ALPHA Elite™ V20 / 20 and CineVision cabinets and the new ALPHA Elite Bartop with the same widescreen display found in the ALPHA Elite family of upright cabinets.

In addition, some of the other key premium games on display include Hot Shot Frenzy™, a new four-reel variations of the highly successful five-reel Hot Shot Progressive™ series, available in both video and stepper configurations. Hot Shot Frenzy features four mini-versions of Bally’s popular “frenzy”-style reel-spinners as part of an exciting bonus-round experience for players. A new seven-reel Super Tournament Progressives group-play game on the CineReels cabinet will also be unveiled.
Bally will also present a new video slot title based on its popular “Quick Hit™” game model. This new multi-level progressive game is called Quick Hit Platinum™ and is presented on Bally’s visually striking ALPHA Elite V32 cabinet, featuring a 32-inch vertical touch-sensitive video display.

Other premium games on display will include tower games Jackpot 7s™ and Fireball™ and Reel Winners™, Instant Spin™ and Reel Money™. Bally will also showcase wide-area progressive games for its QuarterMillion$™ link and licensed titles such as Atari® PONG, Atari® Breakout and S&H Green Stamps® Deluxe™.

“High-denomination” games
This year Bally will feature many new game titles targeted at the “high-denomination” player who enjoys 25-cent and $1 base denominations. Power Progressives™, Quick Hit Progressives™, Reel Control™, Reel Winners Spin & Win™, Progressive Multi-Play Blackjack, Roulette and Instant Spin are among the titles targeting this segment of the market. Additionally, up to a dozen of Bally’s most popular classic S6000 high-denomination titles are being brought forward to the award-winning ALPHA Elite™ S9000 cabinet.

International, Class II and Washington
Bally’s game development teams have also been spending a considerable amount of energy creating new titles for international, Class II and central-determination markets, with a focus on Washington state to support Bally’s current market share of more than 75 percent. Washington state will see the debut of Hot Shot Progressive and a variety of other strong titles, while Class II markets can look forward to the rollout of the wide-area progressive 1,000,000 Degrees™ game. Jackpot Pyramid™, a seven-level progressive, leads the lineup of new international titles.
