Gaming Technology Summit Attendees Select Bally’s TableView™ Table Rating and Player-Tracking System; GameMaker HD™ Multi-Game Platform
LAS VEGAS, May 28, 2008 – Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, casino management systems and networked solutions for the global gaming industry, won two of the top three awards for the “Most Innovative Gaming Technology Product” of 2007.
Attendees of last week’s Gaming Technology Summit in Las Vegas voted for their favorite products out of the “Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products” announced by Casino Journal in April. The votes for Bally Technologies earned the industry leader the Gold Award for its TableView table rating and player-tracking system and the Silver Award for GameMaker HD.
“These awards recognize the innovative culture and spirit of Bally Technologies,” said Richard M. Haddrill, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bally Technologies. “We see this recognition as further validation of our leadership in the global gaming technology market and are proud to be considered among the best of the best. Our investment in R&D is reflected in this recognition for technology that we have developed for the casino floor of today and tomorrow.”
Bally Technologies’ TableView is an innovative, fast and easy table-management solution that allows gaming operators to replace their existing manual rating process with the speed and simplicity of electronic automation. Its design enables casinos to more effectively track table-game play and ensure that their table-game players get the same recognition and rewards as slot players.
The standalone application allows floor operations staff to use touch-screen devices to enter real-time player ratings, request chip fills and credits, input table closers, issue player comps and markers, and change the table shift. TableView data is seamlessly integrated into Bally’s casino management systems and can be installed on every table or at an individual pit stand.
GameMaker HD, the only widescreen multi-game platform in the gaming industry, gives gaming operators the unsurpassed flexibility of a technologically superior multi-game and multi-denomination gaming experience.
With an eye toward the Networked Floor of the Future™, GameMaker HD is designed with such downloadable-ready features as an upgraded processor, multi-purpose button panel, and increased memory for improved storage capacity and lightning-fast responsiveness.
Four Bally technology solutions were nominated among the “Top 20 Most Innovative Technology Products” of 2007 – more than any other nominated company. In addition to winners TableView and GameMaker HD, Bally’s Business Intelligence solution and CineReels™ seven-reel stepper platform were also in the contest for the top awards at the Gaming Technology Summit
