LAS VEGAS, Dec. 17, 2008 — Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, and casino-management systems for the global gaming industry, announced today that it has named Jurate Bitinaite regional sales manager for Eastern Europe.

A native of Lithuania, Bitinaite most recently was the corporate marketing executive and a member of the board of directors of Grand Casino World, a major luxury entertainment and gaming complex in Lithuania.

During her tenure with Grand Casino World, she was responsible for directing a variety of marketing, customer service, customer-relationship management, and sales initiatives, as well as being on the launch team for Lithuania’s largest casino. Prior to working at Grand Casino World, she was the marketing projects coordinator for Cilija, operator of a chain of 80 restaurants in six countries in Eastern Europe.

Bitinaite has also contributed in various business-development projects focused on sales for Sarmanis, a holding company involved in media, publishing, cosmetics, and online businesses. She earned a Master of Law degree from Vilnius University in Lithuania and a Master of Science in European Business from the EDHEC Business School in France.
