BALLY TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES "BALLY ON FIRE!” THEME FOR ITS LINEUP OF GLOBAL GAMING EXPO (G2E) PRODUCTS
Company’s 75th Anniversary Celebration Begins
LAS VEGAS, Nov. 6, 2006 — Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI) announced today that it plans to showcase the broadest array of gaming products and technology of any supplier at the upcoming Global Gaming Expo (G2E), set for Nov. 14-16, 2006 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).
The Global Gaming Expo, the gaming industry’s largest trade show, offers Bally the opportunity to display unique products and technology covering video slots; reel-spinning slots; Class II, lottery and central-determination games; wide-area progressives; specialty games; licensed titles; multiple systems platforms for both domestic and international markets; group-play games; table technology solutions for blackjack and baccarat; new table game and bonusing concepts; advanced slot and systems bonusing technology; international games; proprietary poker games; system-based games and downloadable and server-based gaming technology. More than 100 unique game titles will be on display in nearly 11,000 square feet of space in the Central Hall of the LVCC.
As the Company moves toward its 75th Anniversary year in 2007, the Bally display will feature the “On Fire!” theme, representing the Company’s growing momentum from its reenergized global workforce and a retooled product line that continues to build in popularity with both players and operators.
ALPHA Elite™ series of machines The expansive exhibit space will feature the unveiling of Bally’s lineup of distinctive new cabinet styles offering gaming operators an unprecedented level of flexibility. The ALPHA Elite series features a common base cabinet designed to make it easy for operators to switch back and forth between a reel-spinner and a video slot. This variety of cabinet configurations will include the ALPHA Elite V32 video cabinet with a striking 32-inch vertical touch-screen; the versatile ALPHA Elite V20/20 with twin 20-inch stacked LCD touch-screens; the vivid ALPHA Elite V20 with a single 20-inch display; the ALPHA Elite S9C, featuring a 6.3-inch touch-screen below the reels and the all-new ALPHA Elite S9E stepper slot with 20-inch LCD mounted in the top box. In addition, Bally will once again feature its popular CineVision™ 26-inch wide-screen, surround-sound cabinet.
Each of these various cabinet styles will house a wide assortment of new game titles running on Bally’s ALPHA OS™ platform for both video slots and reel-spinners.
More than 100 unique game titles on display Bally will once again showcase a sparkling group of unique game concepts, including many new proprietary game titles, such as Fireball Frenzy™, New York Gold™, Black Velvet™, Mystic Lamp™, Ultimate Diamonds and 7s™, Cash Ahead™, 24 Carat™, Bonus in a Box™, Multi-Play Blackjack™, Second Chance 7s™, Cash Adventure™, Golden Monkey™, Alaskan Sun™ and Fixin To Win™. Also on display will be an assortment of games inspired by licensed titles, including PONG™, Poppit™, Suduko™, Playboy Free Games™, SNL’s Live From New York™, Poker For Dummies™, Playboy Strip Poker™, S&H Green Stamps™ and Hee Haw®.
Unique specialty games The return of GameMaker® highlights a long list of Bally specialty games on display at G2E. Originally introduced in 1994, GameMaker was the first multi-game to gain widespread acceptance among casino players. Now, 12 years later, the new GameMaker HD™ is present in high definition on the ALPHA Elite V20/20 cabinet that will also serve as Bally’s preferred platform solution for its Bally Live™ server-based gaming initiatives.
Other key specialty games include Reel Winners™, a follow-up to the popular Monte Carlo™ wheel series, a new QuarterMillion$™ wide-area progressive game on CineVision, and Tournament 7s™ and Pair ‘Em Up™, two towering games inspired by the popular Millionaire 777s™ cabinet presentation. Several follow-up versions of the breakout hit Hot Shot Progressive™ will also be showcased.
